Pocket-DVD Studio for Palm is an easy to use application that lets you record video from DVD movies and wmv, avi, mpg, mpeg, rm, rmvb, Tivo2go, dvr-ms, mov files in your hard drive to AVI format compatible with your Palm.
This program lets you configure advanced output settings such as frame rate, AVI codec, brightness, audio bitrate, sampling, channels, volume, etc. You can also select resolution, aspect ratio, quality and file size, and use editing tools like crop screen to cut off undesired parts, and trim by setting start and end points of video clips to record.
Pocket-DVD Studio for Palm is really easy to use, it has useful features like an option to shutdown computer after a long task is performed, and presents a preview screen that helps you with your work. A downside is the lack of support for batch conversion (especially for those who need to convert many simultaneous files). If you want to test this software, a free trial is available for download.
